We are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Support Workers to join our CAMHS team. You will play an important role in supporting children and young people with a range of mental health needs, helping them to build coping strategies, improve their wellbeing, and achieve their personal goals.

This is a rewarding role where you will work closely with young people and their families, supporting them both emotionally and practically, while promoting independence, recovery, and resilience.

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct support to children and young people with mental health needs, in line with their care and support plans.

Support service users to develop positive routines, coping skills, and social interaction.

*

Assist with educational, recreational, and therapeutic activities.

*

Promote a safe and supportive environment, recognising and responding to safeguarding concerns.

*

Build trusting relationships with young people, families, and carers to encourage engagement.

*

Accurately maintain records, incident reports, and progress notes.

What We're Looking For

Previous experience working with children/young people or within a mental health setting (desirable but not essential).

*

A caring, patient, and resilient nature.

*

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

*

Ability to manage challenging situations calmly and professionally.

*

Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
