A Small and bespoke Housing Developer are looking for a Site Manager for a 12-month contract role.

Job Duties:

Oversee the construction project involving the building of 6 new homes and refurbishment of a barn in Oxfordshire.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
Manage health and safety protocols on the site, including conducting regular inspections and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Keep accurate records of project progress, expenses, and any issues that arise during construction.
Communicate effectively with the project team, stakeholders, and clients to provide updates and address any concerns.

Required Qualifications:

Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification
CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card
First Aid certification
Valid Driving Licence

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

Relevant experience in site management within the construction industry
Demonstrated knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and best practises
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional health and safety certifications
Previous experience working on residential construction projects
Experience managing subcontractors and tradespeople

Working Conditions:

Work on-site in Oxfordshire, overseeing the construction project
Full-time hours with occasional weekend work may be required to meet project deadlines
Must adhere to health and safety regulations and wear appropriate protective gear
