Are you a warm, enthusiastic individual who enjoys supporting young children in their early learning journey? We're partnering with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Oldbury seeking a KS1 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis.

In this role, you'll be working across Year 1 and Year 2, helping to create a supportive and stimulating learning environment where pupils can feel confident and make steady progress.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the class teacher with daily routines and activities across KS1.
• Lead small group sessions focused on phonics, early reading, and basic maths.
• Encourage positive behaviour and emotional development.
• Contribute to a calm and engaging classroom setting.
• Assist with displays, preparation of resources, and general classroom organisation.

You Will Need:

• Experience working with children in Key Stage 1.
• Familiarity with early learning approaches, especially phonics.
• A caring, patient, and encouraging manner.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
