We are seeking a driven Production Manager to lead operations at a key UK manufacturing site. With full responsibility for production activities across shifts, you'll drive performance improvement, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the site's operations.

What You'll Be Doing:

Leading day-to-day manufacturing operations across multiple shifts (c.50 headcount)

*

Driving performance across key KPIs: Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People

*

Coaching, mentoring, and motivating cross-functional teams to deliver operational excellence

*

Managing the warehouse, packing, dispatch and supporting maintenance activities

*

Driving continuous improvement initiatives through lean, 5S and IRMS deployment

*

Working closely with planning, supply chain and quality to ensure schedule adherence and service levels

*

Supporting site leadership and succession planning efforts for future growth

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in a Production Managers role (min 3 years)

*

An Engineering degree, qualfication or background ideally in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering

*

Strong people management and team development skills

*

Resilient under pressure, with excellent problem-solving and decision-making ability

*

Comfortable working in a KPI-driven environment with competing priorities

*

Knowledge of ERP systems, data analysis, and continuous improvement tools

*

Ambitious, proactive, and aligned with high personal standards of integrity and accountability
