Global Engineering & Construction, LLC (Global) is a Washington State based design-build construction firm that specializes in the successful execution of government/DoD agency wide IDIQ-MATOC projects for renovation and new construction of medical and non-medical facilities and structures worldwide. We are seeking a highly qualified, self-motivated and hard-working construction executive with great leadership and communication skills. Extensive interaction with government personnel and colleagues - a high degree of confidentiality and highly professional conduct is required.

Position Objectives:

The VP Construction Services will have direct responsibility for the management and oversight of Global’s USACE and NAVFAC awarded MATOC programs and awarded task order objectives. This individual shall be the single point of contact and liaison between the government agencies and representatives on-site and our corporate office. This will also entail overseeing the management of multiple task order projects including developing program related schedules, budgets, controlling costs to budgets while delivering successful and profitable projects, in conjunction with, providing consistent quality and timely project delivery.

Being a change agent who will raise the bar on company and subcontractor performance standards, increasing the competency of all direct reports, driving accountability down into the organization and influencing the organization to innovate and adapt to new ideas while preserving the founding values of Global Engineering & Construction, LLC. This position will also require periodic travel to project offices at both CONUS and OCONUS locations to support regional and/or local project management efforts and to ensure the company’s programs and standards are being met. Additionally, scheduled travel to meet with various government groups and facilities, activities and agencies within our awarded MATOC programs AOR is a crucial and vital PR/customer service management part of this position.


 Develop strategic and tactical plans that improve and grow the business

 Travel to project sites periodically to review progress and provide guidance to Project Managers and interface with key government representatives.

 Directly or in conjunction with the President and senior management counterparts, prepare and evaluate potential government solicitation’s/RFP’s for action


 Analyze IDIQ RFPs, develop proposal outlines and schedules, work with engineers and construction personnel to oversee proposal content, narratives, estimates, schedules, and perform editing and proofreading, prepare for and facilitates proposal red-team reviews, as well as prepare for and facilitate proposal final submittal oversight.

 Daily interface between the design, construction, contract administration and accounting departments

 Periodic Design reviews and monitoring Design department submission schedules

 Review government comments on design submittals that impact construction costs

 Manage, direct, coordinate, and support all Project Managers and as necessary including their subordinates as when deemed appropriate

 Resolve construction related issues that can not be resolved by Project Managers and/or make recommendations to the President as to how to resolve major issues including disputes or conflicts


The VP Construction Services must have extensive Design/Build construction experience, demonstrated estimating and scheduling experience using RS Means, Primavera, and Microsoft Project programs, proven successful business management experience in construction industry and have practical "hands-on" experience with estimating, scheduling, and project job costing. Must have a minimum of 10 years of construction executive or operations management experience, exceptional organizational and problem solving skills, demonstrated leadership, working within very strict timelines and possess strong communication skills.

The VP Construction Services shall also have a recognized four-year college degree in engineering, construction management business/management or related technical field. Traveling is required. D/B Experience in government MATOC "Medical" Facility Renovation & Renewal Projects is an automatic Plus.
