Our Engineers are not just Engineers, they are hosts. Reporting to the Security & Engineering Manager, you will work in a fun and dedicated Engineering team ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of the hotel.
As Engineering Host you are accountable for DailyEngineering tasks, health & safety procedures, Life safety Some of the keyprocesses include but are not limited to:
- Repairof equipment
- Life safety testing
- Legionella testing
You should have current working knowledge ofgeneral maintenance and engineering work and a certificate or Apprenticeship ina specialized field such as Mechanical, Electrical, Refrigeration, Carpentry,or Plumbing is a plus. Ideally you will have previous experience as an Engineerin a retail, hospitality or hospital environment.
With a good command of the English language, youwill have very good verbal and written communication skills. You won''''t beafraid to interact with guests, and be willing to be trained on multipleskills. You will have a can do, positive attitude, able to work in a team andindividually and should be able to multi-task in order to meet a variety ofdeadlines and guest requests.
You should be able to work on a flexible workschedule as the hours for this position will vary.
