We are a well known and well established National brand with recognised sites across the UK assisting both domestic and commercial customers and due to our continued success, we are seeking a Customer Service and Sales Consultant based at our Head Office in Bagshot to deal with Inbound Calls from new and existing customers at our modern and professional Head office site.
The role would suit candidates with proven customer service and/or sales experience gained face to face or ideally over the phone. You may have worked in retail, customer service, hospitality or leisure roles and now be seeking an office based role or you may be currently working in a busy telephone based office role and seeking a new opportunity with a well respected employer.
You will work as part of our fun, friendly and close-knit existing team. Based within our modern Head Office in Bagshot, you will be providing support to our customers and stores across the UK. As Customer Service and Sales Consultant, you are an expert blend of sales and service. Your time will be spent talking to customers, getting to understand their situation, selling the benefits of using our company and gaining their commitment.
This is not a typical call centre job! While we have grown rapidly over the last 20 years, we still have a family feel and great people who deliver exceptional customer experience.
This is a full time role and we can provide you with full training from the start, you will be fully supported in your career. In return, we offer a competitive salary of £21300 plus bonus paid quarterly up to 25% of salary which could take your annual salary to £26.5k plus pension, sharesave scheme, free parking, 20 days holidays plus bank holidays and other excellent company benefits.
As Customer Service and Sales Consultant, you will be an expert blend of sales and service for our customers across the UK. Your time will be spent talking to customers, getting to understand their situation, selling the benefits of using the product and gaining their commitment.
The main duties will be: -
Handles in-bound contact through phone, email, live chat and social media channels from prospective customers, establishing their requirements, offering a relevant solution and gaining them as a customer.
Supports existing customers through their storage journey and exceeds their expectations at every opportunity.
Maintains a positive, friendly and flexible approach, demonstrating commitment and initiative and supporting others to achieve the same.
Acts on feedback, implementing change to improve performance, whilst seeking opportunities to develop.
Supports colleagues to achieve team goals, shows a genuine interest in others and takes time to have fun and celebrate success.
Demonstrates excellent telephone skills through building rapport and showing empathy and understanding of the customer's circumstances.
Maintains an up to date knowledge of current policies and procedures, ensuring a knowledgeable service is offered at all times.
Achieves individual and team sales targets on a consistent basis.
Supports the team to promptly complete additional duties, including on-line call back requests, responding to customer e-mails and processing refunds.
Completes customer contact notes promptly and accurately.
To be successful for the Customer Service and Sales Consultant we are looking for someone who has an excellent telephone manner and a natural ability to speak with customers. Candidates with previous experience of working to targets and KPI's, providing excellent customer service within a retail, proactive customer service or sales role are of interest. However, we would consider applications from all walks of life if you have the right attitude and skills, including recent graduates or those candidates looking to get into an office based role.
You should have competent PC Skills, specifically with MS Office (Excel and Word) E-mail and the internet. You will be enthusiastic and upbeat, with a friendly approach and a willingness to learn. The ability to stay calm under pressure and demonstrate a 'can do' attitude, are a must.
