Registered Manager - Mental Health Services

We’re looking for a Registered Manager to oversee a regulated care service for adults with mental health needs, such as schizophrenia, bipolar, eupd and substance misuse – ensuring that the focus is on well-being and recovery.
You’ll be working for an independent provider who have expertise in the mental health field, with a number of services in the south west. The home has a good rating and excellent relationships with commissioners, and other healthcare professionals, as well as a stable and effective staff team who are passionate about what they do.
The Registered Manager's Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the mental health services
- Planning and implementation of effective mental health recovery support and care service
- Maintain CQC compliance
- Manage the budget, resources, and facilities
- Coordinate with external agencies, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders
- Leadership and Management of the staff team
- Conduct performance reviews and ongoing training and development opportunities for staff members.
What we’re looking for:
- You’ll need experience as a Registered Manager of a CQC regulated care service; such as a residential home / nursing home / mental health hospital / Supported Living / Supported Housing etc.
- You’ll also need a background and significant knowledge in supporting young adults (18-65) who have mental health illness, such as Schizophrenia / Bipolar / Korsakoff’s / Personality Disorders / Substance Misuse.
- You’ll be strong leader of staff, able to effectively lead, mentor and motivate large staff teams.
- Good Knowledge of CQC standards
- Able to live within 1 hour commuet of Exeter
