Job Description

We are looking to add an energetic, hands-on professional with a knack for the details to join our growing organization as an Operations leader. This person will be experienced in handling a wide range of business administration and financial support-related tasks. 

Reporting Relationship: Reports to the President of Rust Belt Recruiting 

About Us: Rust Belt Recruiting is a growing recruiting agency with a manufacturing focus. We provide direct hire search services for positions ranging from skilled trades, engineering, management and more. 

Job Functions 

  • Serve as the lead point of contact interfacing with the company's accounting, human resources, and payroll partners, and other financial vendors 
  • Own managerial tasks within Accounting, including but not limited to:
    • Data entry & reporting within Quickbooks 
    • Weekly invoicing
    • AP/AR management
    • Bi-weekly payroll review
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting for senior leadership team
  • Serve as the internal HR department/liaison 
  • Responsible for the management and record-keeping of team's weekly tracking documents 
  • Lead the onboarding process, including necessary training, and ancillary needs of internal employees
  • Develop process documentation in conjunction with department heads
  • Maintain job boards to ensure all active job postings are accurate to recruiting teams' needs and client requests
  • Maintain relationships with company vendors and develop new partnerships as needed
  • Manage general rhythm of the office (i.e., organizing company procedures, controlling correspondence, managing filing systems, reviewing/approving supply requests, and managing other miscellaneous clerical functions)
  • Play an active role on our EOS leadership team 

Requirements 

  • 3+ years of operational or office management experience
  • In-depth knowledge of Quickbooks required, ProAdvisor certification preferred
  • Knowledge and understanding of best practices in human resources and general business practices
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets 
  • Ability to quickly and thoroughly learn new software and technology  
  • Experience in reporting and analytics
  • Experience working in an EOS company is a big plus!
  • Capacity and desire to grow into a larger role as the company continues to scale
