Financial Controller - UK Operations

A leading global manufacturer is seeking a Financial Controller to oversee financial reporting and internal controls for its UK-based specialist production business. This is a pivotal role within the UK management team, offering the opportunity to work closely with commercial stakeholders and lead a finance team of 6.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver accurate and timely monthly management reporting
Oversee efficient accounts receivable and payable processes
Partner with commercial teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and investment decisions
Manage internal controls and drive process improvements, especially through automation
Ensure compliance with statutory and tax regulations
Lead and develop the UK Finance team

About You

Qualified accountant with 5+ years post-qualification experience
Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
Proven track record in process improvement and financial analysis
Experience of working in a complex, global manufacturing business
Proficient in ERP systems (preferably Oracle NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills

Working Environment

Hybrid working model (2-3 days/week in the office)This is a great opportunity to be responsible for the day to day running of the UK business, reporting into the Finance Director.
