- Proficient in costs negotiation, with a strong understanding of fixed costs claims and the costs process
- Knowledgeable in CPR Cost related procedures, Pre-Action Protocols, and case law for fixed costs disputes
- Ability to handle a caseload, manage WIP, and meet fee targets
- Skilled in drafting letters, Costs Schedules, Part 23 Applications, Part 8 Proceedings, and written submissions
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with fee earners and management
Preferred Qualifications:- 2 to 5 years of experience in case handling and working to target
- Desirable: Advocacy skills at costs hearings on fixed costs matters
- Strong commercial awareness and a professional attitude
