Support Service Worker - Domestic violence

Sellick partnership are currently assisting in the recruitment of a Domestic Violence support worker for a social housing organisation covering the County Durham area.

The Support Service worker will provide support to clients in order to promote independent living within the relevant parameters, as appropriate. Clients can be defined as individuals, families or children that might have a range of diverse needs.

Domestic Violence Support Worker will:

Assist clients, by providing support in a flexible and person-centred way, delivering practical tasks which address their needs and aspirations, and support their ability to build and develop strong networks through drafting and assisting in the implementation of support/ treatment plans
Work cooperatively with identified partner agencies to deliver contractual obligations
Contribute to the review of support plans and risk assessments in a timely manner, informing all relevant parties of significant changes and alerts as you become aware of them
Assist in ensuring the maintenance of high-quality accommodation, effective rent collection and efficient void and housing managementRequirements of Domestic Violence Support Worker:

Ability to use ICT appropriately
Ideally possess experience with working in a similar DV support role
