SENCo - Peckham Primary School - September 2025 Start 
Pertemps Education is working in partnership with a primary school in Peckham to recruit a SENCo for a September 2025 start. 
 
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and committed leader to drive forward inclusive practice and make a lasting difference in the lives of children with special educational needs. The successful candidate will be a key member of the leadership team, overseeing the strategic development of the school's SEND provision and supporting staff in delivering high-quality, inclusive teaching. 
 
Location: Peckham 
Start Date: September 2025 
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent 
Salary: £40,766 - £52,288 + SEN Allowance 
 
About the Role: 

Lead and manage the provision for pupils with special educational needs across the school 
Coordinate the identification of pupils with SEND and ensure appropriate intervention, provision, and support 
Work with pupils, staff, families, and external agencies to ensure positive outcomes 
Provide professional guidance and training for staff on inclusive practice and SEND strategies 
Oversee and contribute to EHCP applications, annual reviews, and statutory documentation 
Monitor and evaluate the impact of interventions, using data to inform future planning 
Promote a culture of safeguarding and inclusion across the school  
The Ideal Candidate Will Have: 

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) 
National Award for SEN Coordination 
Evidence of ongoing professional development through training, INSET, or personal study with demonstrable impact 
A strong commitment to continued professional learning and development in the role 
Proven experience of successful leadership and management within a school setting 
A track record of delivering outstanding pupil progress for groups of children 
The ability to contribute to the professional leadership of staff and work collaboratively with other teams to raise standards 
Experience of using data and analysis to drive improvement in outcomes for pupils 
Clear knowledge and practical experience of safeguarding procedures and responsibilities
