The Role:
Adept Resourcing Engineering are currently recruiting for an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join a busy and well-established engineering business in Rotherham. This role offers the chance to work on a wide variety of fabrication and welding projects, including pressure vessels, pipework, and general steelwork.
Responsibilities:
Set up, mark out, fabricate, tack and weld jobs as instructed
Work confidently from engineering drawings, following both written and verbal instructions
Carry out welding using MIG
Operate a range of workshop equipment including cranes, band saws, drills, grinders, plasma cutters, paint spraying tools, and hydraulic testing equipment
Assemble and finish products to the highest standards in a professional and safe manner
Pack and label finished products for delivery
Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment
On occasion, work on client sites or stay away when required
Requirements:
Proven welding/fabrication experience within a workshop environment
Competent in MIG
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
Reliable, motivated, and able to work effectively as part of a team
Willingness to work shifts, overtime, weekends, and nights when required
Desirable Experience:
Working with pressure vessels and pipe fabrication
Use of manipulators, turntables, rotators, and hydraulic testing equipment
