Joiner - Belfast - Temporary to Permanent - £17.50 per hour
Are you an experienced Joiner who takes pride in delivering high-quality work? We're looking for a reliable, hard-working skilled worker to join our team and deliver top-quality bespoke joinery across a range of projects.
As a Joiner, you'll be responsible for manufacturing, assembling, and installing solid, high-quality woodwork and fittings. Working with timber and other materials, you'll produce bespoke joinery built to exact specifications while maintaining high standards of skill, quality, and safety.

Duration: Temporary to Permanent
Pay Rate: £17.50 per hour
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm (on call once every 8 weeks with additional payments)

Key Responsibilities include:
Measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling timber and timber-based materials
Manufacturing and installing doors, windows, staircases, cabinets, and bespoke joinery
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
Using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely and effectively
Carrying out repairs, maintenance, and alterations to existing joinery
Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and within agreed time frames
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Complying with all health and safety regulations
Working independently or as part of a team and liaising with other trades as required

Essential Criteria:
Proven experience as a Joiner or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques and materials
Ability to read and work from technical drawings
High attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
Competence using hand and power tools
Strong problem-solving skills
Effective time and workload management
Desirable Criteria:
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry and Joinery (or equivalent)
CSR / CSCS card (for site-based work where required)
Completed apprenticeship in Joinery or Carpentry
