About the Art Teacher Role:

We are seeking an exceptional Art Teacher to join our dedicated Art department. The successful Art Teacher will have the opportunity to teach Art across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students with engaging lessons and a love for visual expression.

What you'll do as an Art Teacher:

* Deliver engaging and innovative Art lessons that cater to a range of learning styles and artistic abilities.

* Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment where students feel confident to explore their creativity and develop their artistic skills.

* Teach a variety of Art techniques and media, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital art.

* Encourage students to engage with Art history and contemporary art practices.

* Organise and participate in school exhibitions and art events.

* Assess and monitor student progress in Art, providing constructive feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.

* Contribute to the development of the Art curriculum and departmental resources, ensuring that our teaching remains current and engaging.

* Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and ensure the highest standards of Art teaching.

What you'll need to be a successful Art Teacher:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

* A degree in Art, Fine Art, or a related field.

* Experience teaching Art at the secondary level.

* A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Art.

* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.

* A passion for Art and a commitment to inspiring students.
