Our client, a leading company in the aerospace sector, is currently seeking a Test Technician for a contract position. The role involves working with pressure test and fuel test rigs for various mechanical valves, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are met.

Key Responsibilities:

Performing pressure tests and fuel tests on mechanical valves
Checking for leaks, both internal and external
Ensuring torque requirements are met
Monitoring pressure flow rates
Conducting shimming and adjustments to set cracking pressure
Adhering to DESAR working practices and 5S/TPM methodologies
Interpreting technical drawings and following written instructions in accordance with test procedures
Using the non-conformance database for reporting and analysis

Job Requirements:

Experience and knowledge of 2391 Test & Inspection
Understanding of pressure test and fuel test rigs
Familiarity with DESAR working practices and 5S/TPM methodologies
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and written instructions
Understanding of non-conformance databases
Ability to work shifts, including early and late shifts

Days
Monday - Thursday 7.30am - 4.15am
Friday 7.30 - 11.30
