Rigger / Steel Erector

LRL require a Rigger / Steel Erector to work on a permanent basis, on multi-million pound projects across the UK.

Job Role:

· Working on sites across the UK on new-build, maintenance, and overhaul work.

· Wide variety of work ranging for power stations, waste recovery, building product manufacture and quarrying.

· Promotion opportunities available.

What You'll Do:

· Experience of working on medium to heavy engineering.

· Reading engineering GAs and detailed drawings.

· Installing and maintaining a wide range of steel work and equipment such as conveyors, ash handling equipment.

· Installation of new equipment and repairs to old.

· Working to the highest of safety standards.

· Plant operations such as MEWP, Loadall, Slinger banksman and PASMA would be benefit but training can be given.

· NVQ training in the relevant trade.

Compensation and Benefits:

· Competitive salary starting at £18.47/hour + £15 per night working away allowance + £25 per day sustenance allowance

· Standard overtime rate of £27.70/hour and £39.48/hour on Sundays

Schedule:

· Monday to Friday.

Requirements:

· NVQ in Moving loads

· Experience in medium to heavy engineering.

· Ability to read and interpret engineering documents.

· Familiarity with plant operations is a plus (training provided).Licence/Certification:

· CCNSG Safety Passport / CSCS (required).
