Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated PE Teacher passionate about promoting fitness, teamwork, and resilience through physical education? A well-regarded mainstream secondary school in Birmingham is looking to appoint a dynamic and committed PE Teacher to join their vibrant team from September 2025 or earlier.

PE Department Overview:
The PE department is energetic, inclusive, and ambitious, offering a broad and balanced curriculum that encourages participation and excellence in a wide range of sports and physical activities. The school boasts excellent sports facilities, including a full-sized sports hall, fitness suite, and extensive outdoor areas. Students enjoy taking part in inter-school competitions, enrichment clubs, and health-focused initiatives.

Your Role Will Include:

Teaching Physical Education across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach KS5

*

Delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that promote physical literacy and confidence

*

Contributing to extracurricular clubs, sports teams, and school events

*

Supporting the pastoral development of students as a form tutor

*

Working collaboratively with colleagues on curriculum development and whole-school priorities

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

*

Holds a degree in Physical Education or a related subject

*

Has QTS or a PGCE (ECTs are welcome and fully supported)

*

Demonstrates strong behaviour management and inclusive teaching strategies

*

Is passionate about student wellbeing, fitness, and team spirit

*

Is committed to ongoing professional development and teamwork

Salary and Contract:

Full-time, permanent position

Salary: MPS/UPS, based on experience
