£26 - £30 per hour (PAYE) | 1:1 Teaching | Immediate Start | Flexible Hours

Are you a qualified teacher ready to step away from the pressures of the classroom and make a real impact?

We're looking for passionate, trauma-informed Nurture Teachers to deliver 1:1 tuition to children and young people across Salford, Wigan, St Helens, and surrounding areas who are currently not accessing mainstream education.

🧠 About the Role:

This role involves delivering individualised education to learners with SEND, SEMH, and EBSA needs in supportive, community-based settings such as:

*

Libraries

*

Community hubs

*

Schools

*

Occasionally in the student's home (fully risk-assessed and safeguarded)

This is ideal for teachers who want to build strong, one-to-one relationships, support students' re-engagement with education, and work flexibly outside of a traditional classroom.

✅ Essential Requirements:

To be considered, all applicants must have:

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or a recognised equivalent teaching qualification

*

An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one

*

Experience supporting students with:

*

SEND

*

SEMH

*

EBSA (Emotionally Based School Avoidance)

*

A trauma-informed, relationship-focused teaching approach

*

The ability to work independently and tailor learning to individual needs
