We are seeking an experienced Cladding Designer to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis producing detailed drawings for building envelope projects.

Start Date: Flexible, ideally allowing for up to one month's notice for the successful candidate
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
Work Hours: 7:30am - 4:30pm (9 hours per day including 1 hour of breaks)
Working Arrangement: Office-based
Office Location: Hertfordshire

Key Responsibilities:

• Producing 2D and 3D drawings for facade and cladding systems
• Preparing general arrangement, typical section, and fabrication drawings
• Working on building envelope packages including curtain walling and rainscreen systems
• Using AutoCAD, Advanced Steel, and Tekla for technical detailing
• Supporting the design team with drawing revisions and technical updates

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Cladding Designer or Draughtsman
• Strong experience producing facade or building envelope drawings
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Advanced Steel, or Tekla
• Good technical understanding of fabrication and construction drawings
• Ability to work effectively within an office-based design environment
