ER Consultant Goring on Thames Permanent contract Part-time, 3-4 days per week.
Location - Goring on Thames, office based.
About us We are an expert Employee Relations company, founded in 2003, with 150+ retained clients.
We have clients from many different industries and we specialise in advising private member golf clubs in the UK.
Our clients are small businesses with fewer than 50 employees.
We are their outsourced HR department, advising at managing director level, giving them commercial employment law advice to solve their ER issues.
We deliver our advice remotely, by email, phone and Zoom, but there are occasional possibilities for client site visits.
Travel is not a requirement.
We are a friendly team of 5 staff working out of a modern office in Goring on Thames.
About The Role We’re recruiting for ER Specialists to advise and support clients in all aspects of UK employment law, ideally within a fast paced, high volume environment.
You will be able to find the most appropriate and commercially beneficial solutions for staff issues to support our clients’ business decisions, whilst highlighting appropriate risks.
making sure they remain legally compliant.
You will be able to confidently and independently manage the complex employee relations casework.
The complex ER issues include gross misconduct, dismissal, disciplinaries, sickness absence, grievances, TUPE and settlement agreements.
You should expect to be working on circa 30 cases at a time.
About You Extensive knowledge of employment law Able to work independently and as part of a team Build and develop professional relationships with the highest level of management at our clients You will demonstrate innovation and creativity, You can work successfully with clients at the highest level of management through effective communication.
You’ll also be able to demonstrate a commitment to your own personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the role.
Key to this role will be your ability to provide excellent customer service and be flexible and resilient to support your colleagues and different ER issues as and when required.
