Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a full-time Intervention Specialist to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Gateacre. This rewarding role involves delivering targeted support to small groups and individual pupils, focusing on literacy and numeracy interventions across KS1 and KS2.

This is a full-time role and would suit a qualified TA or an experienced educator passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning.

Job Description

As an Intervention Specialist, you will:

Deliver planned interventions to pupils working below age-related expectations
Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to identify needs and monitor progress
Adapt resources and strategies to maximise impact
Support pupils both inside and outside the classroom
The Ideal Candidate Will

Have recent experience delivering interventions in a primary setting
Understand the national curriculum (especially English and Maths)
Be confident in adapting resources and teaching strategies
Be organised, proactive, and able to use initiative
Hold a Level 2 or 3 TA qualification (or equivalent experience)
Be passionate about helping children reach their full potential
Hold a DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply through Teaching Personnel
