We are currently working with a Special Needs school in North West London who have an opportunity for a Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join their school as soon as possible.

The Role

In this role you will be working with students with a variety of Special Needs, predominately Autism.

Pupils in the class can display challenging behaviour and can sometime require support to calm situations and may need restraining. You will be working with every child in the class at different points in the week. The pupils will require personal care, support with eating and daily tasks as well as support in lessons. You will be using a variety of teaching and communication methods including PECS, Attention Autism,

The school are looking for a teaching assistant who is very confident and open to provide care and support to Secondary Students with this level of complex needs.

The school are open to applications from Special Needs Teaching Assistants with previous experience or care settings, or passionate and committed individuals.
