A respected and well organised small build contractor dealing based in the heart of Southampton are looking to recruit an Account Manager, working within a small friendly team of three to four.
You will be responsible for engaging with clients in relation to all potential new contracts and to take responsibility for processing estimates onto orders whilst maintaining operational profit margins and maximising sales from existing customer base.

Typical Duties;
* Manage and build relationships with existing and potential customers.
* Manage internal customer status structure in accordance with the sales strategy.
* Manage incoming enquiries and follow up on estimates.
* Assist in the production and issuing of estimates.
* Undertake contract negotiations with customers to secure orders.
* Attend customer / pre-contract meetings.
* Assist in identifying the required sales marketing material.
* Attend and contribute to internal sales meeting and deliver agreed actions.
Experience & Qualifications;
Min. 3 years of experience in a similar role in the construction industry.
· Competent with Microsoft Office 365 suite (particularly Outlook, Word, Excel).
· Ability to use the company Office Management Software system/s.
· Full UK driving licence.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
