Abbey Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Registered Nurse (RGN) to join our team Maldon.

We are looking for a nurse who can lead, support clinical practice, and deliver person-centred care to our residents.

Registered Nurses with strong experience are also welcome to apply.

This is an excellent opportunity for an RGN looking to progress into a senior role or continue developing within a supportive and well-structured care home environment.

• Deliver high-quality clinical care and oversee assessments, care planning, and evaluations
• Monitor and update electronic care plans and the EMAR medication system
• Act as the nurse in charge when required
• Support junior staff, ensure smooth shift handovers, and maintain accurate nursing records
• Administer medication safely in line with NMC and Home policies
• Promote effective communication with staff, residents, families, and external professionals
• Ensure the home meets CQC standards and all nursing practices follow the NMC Code of Conduct
• Assist with audits, training, induction, and ongoing development of staff
• Support residents through one-to-one contact and meaningful engagement
• Maintain a safe, caring, and supportive environment at all times

• Registered Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC PIN
• Experience working within a residential or nursing home setting
• Strong clinical judgment and leadership skills
• Good communication and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
• Must have UK work authorisation (no visa sponsorship available)

• £23.50 – £24.00 per hour
• 48 hours per week(expected)
