I'm recruiting on behalf of a major civils contractor delivering a flagship infrastructure scheme at the Netherton Hub - the largest earthworks project currently being undertaken for SSEN in Scotland.
We are looking for two experienced Section Engineers to join the team on a freelance basis.
Role Responsibilities
·Oversee major civils packages including earthworks, drainage, and internal roads.
·Manage and brief Site Engineers, ensuring planned works are executed safely and effectively.
Ideal Candidate
·HNC or higher in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
·Proven experience on highways or major earthworks projects (e.g., large-scale infrastructure, HS2-type environments).
·EUSR CAT1 & CAT2 training is highly desirable.
