Company: GREYS SPECIALIST RECRUITMENT

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

Are you an experienced QHSE professional looking for the next step in your career? We're working with a forward-thinking manufacturing business that's seeking a confident and capable QHSE Senior Officer / Supervisor to help drive high standards in quality, health & safety, and environmental performance.

This is a key role with real responsibility — you'll be the lead for the company's ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, support wider QHSE initiatives, and act as deputy to the QHS Manager. It's a great opportunity to join a well-established company that values safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

* Take ownership of the ISO 14001 EMS, ensuring it's maintained, compliant, and continuously improved

* Support the delivery of QHSE strategies, audits, and internal training across the site

* Help lead investigations into non-conformances and incidents, ensuring corrective actions are implemented

* Work closely with the QHS Manager to guide the department and represent QHSE at meetings

* Deliver training and act as a point of contact for QHSE queries across departments

* Carry out internal audits, risk assessments, and ensure the site remains up to date with HSE and environmental legislation

* Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and environmental awareness

* Provide occasional support to international operations (remote collaboration only)

What We're Looking For:

* Minimum 3 years' experience in a QHSE role within a manufacturing or industrial setting

* Proven experience managing and maintaining ISO 14001 systems

* Strong understanding of ISO 9001 and general HSE compliance requirements

* Excellent communication and leadership skills — able to guide, influence and support others

* Well-organised, with good attention to detail and confident using Microsoft Office

* Experience with internal audits, investigations, and improvement plans

Desirable (but not essential):

* NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent

* IOSH Managing Safely

* Environmental or sustainability qualifications (e.g. IEMA, BSc)

What's on Offer:

* Competitive salary depending on experience

* Daytime hours, Monday to Friday — no shifts or weekend work

* Supportive working environment with strong leadership

* Stable, well-established employer with long-term opportunities

* Free on-site parking and full training provided

If you're ready to take the lead on QHSE matters and make a lasting impact in a growing business, we'd love to hear from you. Apply now to find out more.
