Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (1:1 and Group Support)

Salary: £85-£120 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Veritas Education is working in partnership with a warm and inclusive primary school in the heart of Lewisham, currently seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity supporting children with special educational needs in both 1:1 and small group settings.

The Role:

Provide 1:1 support to pupils with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH.
Assist with group interventions, helping pupils to access learning in a safe and supportive environment.
Work closely with class teachers, the SENCO, and external professionals to deliver personalised support.
Monitor pupil progress and provide regular feedback.
Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom culture.Ideal Candidate:

Experience working with children with SEN (in a school, nursery, or care setting).
Passionate about supporting children's learning and development.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
Patient, empathetic, and proactive in approach.
Knowledge of EHCPs, behaviour support strategies, or specific interventions is an advantage.Preferred Qualifications:

CACHE Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning
SEN-specific training or qualifications
