Your New Job

This role as a PA/Operations Manager is varied and challenging and covers a number of duties and responsibilities.  Working as a PA to the Chairman, you will be working very closely together, organising meetings, managing diaries, attending meetings, producing correspondence and any other ad-hoc duties as required.  Alongside this, you will work very closely with the senior management team including the Managing Director and Finance Director, collating and interpreting various departmental reports.  You will attend meetings on behalf of the Chairman, being part of decision making processes and helping to drive business and initiatives forward.  You will be very much across all areas of the business, enabling the Chairman to have all the information required to unsure a smooth running of the whole company.

Your Experience and Our Requirements

To be considered for this role you don't necessarily need to have operated in a traditional PA role, but you must be able to demonstrate the traits and skills required through your career history.  The right candidate will have strong commercial knowledge, understanding how all areas of a business operate as well as excellent IT skills including Excel.  You will be able to interpret reports including sales reports, balance sheets and profit & loss and have the skills to communicate these with stakeholders across the business.  You will have excellent organisation skills, be efficient and hard-working and be able to attend meetings with members of the senior management team and use your commercial knowledge and communication skills to take part in debate and influence decisions.  You will be flexible to travel across various locations in Lancashire to attend meetings and be looking for a full time, permanent opportunity.
