HGV Parts Advisor needed

Our client, a commercial vehicle specialist, is seeking for a HGV Parts Advisor to join their team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the efficient operation of the parts department within a dealership and advising customers on the correct parts for HGV repairs and maintenance, sourcing and ordering parts, and managing stock levels to ensure timely service for vehicles.

Role: HGV Parts Advisor

Hours: Monday to Friday 8.5 hours per day - 9.00am to 6.00pm with 30 minutes unpaid lunch, plus the Saturday rota (1 in 3 Saturdays), hours 7.00am to Noon.

Location: Heathrow

Responsibility:

* Answering customer inquiries about parts and accessories all makes of trucks and trailers by phone and emails.

* Utilising our parts ordering system to accurately identify and locate parts.

* Upselling and cross selling where applicable.

* Cold & warm calling drift accounts to win back business and or sell promotions.

* Processing orders, ensuring parts availability, and providing accurate quotes.

* Maintaining a clean and organized parts department.

* Providing exceptional customer service to both retail and trade customers.

* To ensure that all procedures for handling cash, credit / debit card accounts are fully adhered to in accordance with CWG policies

* To ensure data capture is accurately entered on CRM systems

* To assist in stock checks when required

Requirements:

* MUST HAVE COMMERCIAL VEHICLE EXPERIENCE (LCV OR HGV)

* Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Parts Advisor.

* Proactive in their approach to work.

* Critical thinker who can see the bigger picture.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Excellent negotiation and selling skills.

* Proficient in using computer software, including EPCs & Kerridge.
