Broadreach Recruitment is working with a specialist fleet operator in the luxury marine and road travel business.

We are seeking an experienced HGV Mechanic to join a stable, close-knit workshop team maintaining a high-value fleet of specialist vans.

This is a workshop-based, permanent role offering consistency, quality work, and a strong work/life balance - no shifts, no nights, no weekends as standard.

The Role

You'll be part of an established maintenance team responsible for ensuring the fleet is maintained to the highest DVSA and company standards.

Key responsibilities include:

* Vehicle servicing in line with company policy

* Periodic Maintenance Inspections (PMIs)

* MOT preparation and presentation

* Mechanical and electrical fault diagnosis

* Accurate completion of inspection reports and records

* Supporting roadside breakdowns when required

* Maintaining safe, tidy workshop practices

You may also assist with light commercial vehicles as workload allows.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

* Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in HGV or PSV maintenance

* Minimum 5 years' industry experience

* Strong understanding of DVSA compliance

* Confident with mechanical and basic electrical systems

* Able to work unsupervised and take ownership

Desirable (but not essential):

* PSV licence

* Welding experience

* Fleet or coach operator background
