Job Title: Computing Lecturer

Pay and working hours:

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum.

* Create an inclusive classroom that encourages academic achievement.

* Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.

* Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching and learning.

* Maintain high standards of classroom management.

Personal Specification:

EDUCATIONAL ATTAINMENTS OR ACADEMIC/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

* Relevant degree or equivalent qualification

* Teaching qualification desirable though not essential as training will be given

* Relevant vocational qualification to at least Level 3

Essential skills:

competent programmer in the following languages C# and JavaScript; knowledge of design approaches to software development; knowledge of testing frameworks.

Desired:

experience of XR technologies; exposure to real-time embedded systems and AI; use of information systems for business purposes; risk-based testing.

Applicants will have taught HE previously, hold at least a degree or equivalent with a recognised teaching qualification, or be willing to study to gain the qualification.
