Recruit Assist have an exciting opportunity, for an experienced Transport Manager, to join my pallet network client in North London.

Salary: £45 to £50k
Job Title: Company Transport Manager

Shift pattern: Monday to Friday 7am to 330pm

Main responsibilities:

* Managing the company fleet of vehicles

* Arranging maintenance, servicing and repairs

* O License responsibility

* Previous experience of HGV1, HGV2, 7.5T and Van fleets

* Responsible for the supply chain that leads into the transport department

* Managing drivers

* Keeping tight control of costs and risk

* Reporting to the MD on KPI

Candidate requirements:

* 3 years as a Transport Manager

* Experience of working within the Pallet network (ideal)

* Qualified Transport Manager

* Confident and strong managerial skills

* Experience of recruiting, training, and supporting drivers

* ACAS principles
