Chester

Are you an experienced Process Technologist looking to take the next step in your career? Do you enjoy working in a fast-moving food production environment where no two days are the same? If you love variety, managing multiple projects, and being hands-on in the factory, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

We're working with a well-known food manufacturer with a long-standing reputation and successful history. They're a leader in their category and need a high energy process development technologist who understands the pace and demands involved in food manufacturing. This is an ideal opportunity to join a strong, experienced technical team and work closely with a supportive Process Manager who genuinely enjoys helping people grow.

Why this role?

You'll be part of a business that's growing and always striving for the highest standards.
There's plenty of opportunity to learn from a skilled team and build your expertise.
The company values innovation, quality and a one team ethos - they invest in their people.
Many in the team have already progressed their careers here - they look after their own.

What you'll be doing:

Bringing new food products to life - from kitchen concept to full-scale factory production.
Improving current manufacturing processes to make them smoother and more efficient.
Leading factory trials - organising materials, sorting paperwork, attending HACCP meetings, and making sure product standards are signed off.
Working closely with production and planning teams to make sure everyone's in the loop and trials run to schedule.
Sitting in on customer panels and helping with product tweaks and improvements.

What we're looking for:

Experience in food manufacturing is essential - this is a fast-paced site.
You've worked in similar environments and know how to manage timelines and project plans.
You understand factory processes and how ingredients behave in large-scale production.
You're confident dealing with retailers and know how to interpret and deliver on their briefs.
You keep up with market trends and know what customers are looking for.
You're organised, calm under pressure, and good at juggling tasks.
You're hands-on, a team player, and someone who can take the lead when needed.
