Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Thatcham - Newbury

Salary: £50,000 per annum

Shifts: Panama (2 on 3 off, 3 on 2 off), rotating Days & Nights (12-hour shifts)

What You'll Be Doing:

Carrying out planned and preventative electrical maintenance

Responding to electrical breakdowns and fault-finding to ensure minimal downtime

Working on a variety of systems including motors, sensors, relays, control panels, and drives

Supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives

Fault-finding on PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley)

Working closely with other engineers in a multi-skilled team environment

What We're Looking For:

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or a relevant electrical qualification

Strong background in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing or FMCG environment

Practical experience with single-phase and three-phase systems

Knowledge of safety circuits, motors, drives, and automation systems

A proactive, team-focused attitude with excellent problem-solving skills
