Monitors on-time performance of pickups, stop offs and delivers
Monitors driver and broker performance
Processes load information via Qualcomm message and/or phone conversation with drivers
Updates appropriate websites as required for Customer communication
Adheres to all metric rules and ensures that performance and communication are compliant with metric rules. Strives to be metric violation free.
Responsible for equipment utilization
Schedules, in conjunction with Maintenance, the required PM / DOT inspections for equipment
Coach and counsel drivers (Includes monthly S.A.F.E scorecard and daily remedial counseling)
Ensures all P1 and P2 expirations for Drivers, Equipment and Brokers assigned to their business are addressed and resolved.
Load reallocation as necessary
Monitors, accepts and negotiates Add Cancel requests by customers
Ensure check calls are administered every 2 - 4 hours.
Adheres to all Quality and company processes and procedures.
Adheres to Corporate Principles, including the Operations Principle of S.C.O.R.E.S (Safety, Cost, Ownership, Relationships, Efficiency, Service).
Performs other tasks as requested by Operations Management (including Shift Managers).
Performs other duties as assigned.
May be required to work additional hours or shifts including weekends. Weekend availability required.
