Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum

Stonebridge is currently recruiting for one of the UK’s busiest and most exciting Insolvency firms in the UK. Our client is highly specialised in corporate restructuring and insolvency, and is looking to appoint a confident, experienced Insolvency Assistant Manager and/or Manager to sit in their Surrey team. This is an opportunity to work with one of the most prestigious Insolvency practices in the UK gaining exposure to complex and international cases, whilst developing your technical, people management and client-facing skills.

Key Responsibilities will include.

  • To assist in managing the team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of insolvency and corporate advisory projects.
  • To manage a portfolio of corporate insolvency cases in accordance with the firm’s standard procedures and relevant compliance.
  • Liaising with client staff; and communicating findings, including report writing and oral presentations
  • Reporting into a partner you will help oversee a small team of insolvency professionals.
  • Contingency planning and preparing for an insolvency process
  • You will ensure that worked is delegated and ensure that cases are progressed efficiently.
  • Assist in providing training to the team and ensure compliance is kept up to date.
  • Take an active role in the networking and business development activities of the firm.

Key Requirements for the Insolvency Assistant Manager/Manager:

  • Report to Partners, Director and Senior Manager
  • Coaching, supervising and delegating work to Trainees, Administrators and Senior Administrators
  • Assisting with more complex cases & responding to queries.
  • Organising and managing a caseload
  • 4-8 Years Insolvency Experience
  • Experience of managing less experienced team members
  • Experience working on and managing a portfolio of Administrations, CVAs and Liquidations
  • JIEB / CPI qualification would be a desirable
  • Ability to cope under stress and work to tight deadlines.
