Quality Engineer

Are you an experienced, hands-on Quality Engineer ready to ensure industry-leading quality standards for a global engineering business?
A successful engineering company with global reach require a Quality Engineer to oversee quality control & assurance across all operations.
What You'll Be Doing:
· QA/QC on mechanical and weld materials based on drawings and test specs.
· Inspection of fabricated components.
· Mechanical inspections for completed assemblies, measurements and inspections.
· Play a key role in the quality vendor management process.
· Certification package preparation
Required Qualifications & Experience:
· ISO Certified Auditor, with 9001 / 45001 / ISO14001 experience
· Good understanding of lean tools
· Able to read technical drawings
· Knowledge of lean six sigma in manufacturing
· Willingness to travel to client sites in Aberdeen, Birmingham and any other required locations in the UK
· Experience using measuring equipment (verniers, micrometers etc)
· Full UK driving licence - you'll be required to travel to customer locations occasionally
