Our client a Busy Local Authority require the services of an Interim Principal Disposal Surveyor.

ROLE : Interim Principal Disposal Surveyor
RATE : £500.00 to 525.00 per day.
LOC : Initially 3-4 months , Leicestershire

The Council has a diverse and exciting pipeline of potential disposals and is seeking a candidate with proven experience in dealing with a variety of different property type sales and who must be conversant with the necessary legal documents and agreements that need to accompany such tasks. Working largely on your own initiative, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a caseload of disposals from inception to completion to achieve best consideration for the Council.

You will need to have solid knowledge of planning and highways and be proficient in engaging external specialist advice. There will be a need for reports to be prepared for the appropriate Boards and Cabinet and presenting where necessary. As part of a larger multi-disciplinary team the role will also include advising on other general practice matters such as valuation work for option appraisals and acquisitions and landlord and tenant matters.
