A rare opportunity to join a professional accounting firm who is looking for:

  • Semi Senior Auditor who can be a junior or unqualified however some experience within a similar role.
  • Audit Team Leader who is ideally qualified with previous experience.
  • Audit Assistant Manager who ideally is ACA or ACCA Qualified with excellent technical skills.

Your role will be to assist with audits for a range of clients from SME's to large-sized, complex groups. The client base is extensive, ranging from high-net-worth individuals to multi-national groups across a wide variety of commercial and 'not for profit' sector.

You will have good experience in preparing statutory accounts and performing audit fieldwork and will develop first rate client handling skills and the ability to apply audit and accounting principles to deliver high quality work. In addition, the audit team supports the Transactions Support Group and can get involved with one-off special projects!

  • Undertake audit risk assessments
  • Audit planning and delivery of audit assignments
  • Deal with audit and accounting issues
  • Performing audit fieldwork, including on client site
  • Provide support to other members of the audit team
  • Liaising with clients and audit team members throughout the audit processes

Team Leader

  • Assistance with the preparation of statutory financial statements
  • Valuation work, acquisition, and disposal due diligence exercises
  • Review and documentation of internal control procedures and systems
  • Assess the progress of audits and provide guidance and support to junior staff
  • Involvement in ACA students' training and development and staff review process


  • Regular exposure to the owners and the directors of the clients
  • Liaising closely with partners on their clients' affairs from an audit and commercial perspective
  • Provision of accountancy and commercial management support to clients
  • Cost effective delivery of financial statements
  • Involvement in one-off work, such as due diligence, investigations and valuations
  • Quality control and continuous improvement of our processes
  • Team leadership and the development of junior staff
  • Involvement in proposals for new work and business development initiatives
