Reed Accountancy are currently working with a great company near Keighley who are looking for a Finance Assistant/Purchase Ledger to start as soon as possible. This is part-time (25 hours) position and can be flexible on working days. They offer hybrid working 1 day a week after the initial training period. This company have a small staff turnover and it is a great opportunity to join their team.
A few Responsibilities
- Process all supplier invoices and credit notes
- Process supplier statements on a monthly basis
- Complete supplier credit check forms
- Process all transactions within bank, sales ledger and purchase ledger
- Petty cash and reconciliation
- Monthly cost analysis
- Allocate supplier payments
- Attend to supplier queries, requests for payment allocations etc
- Work with sales ledger to ensure all bank statement items are captured
- Bank reconciliation
- Agree inter-company invoices and follow up discrepancies
- Process all expenses
- Adjust weekly/monthly currency rates
You will need to demonstrate
- Loyalty in previous roles
- Experience working in a similar role
- Accuracy in all areas, especially numeracy
- Time management
- Inter-departmental cross selling
