Job Role:

Working for a leading manufacturer of industrial diesel engines, you will be working as a Mobile Diesel Fitter / Service Engineer – home based in South Yorkshire area. You will have previous engineering experience working on a range of Mechanical Diesel Engines. The salary for this position is £40 - £45,000, plus overtime as required (typically an additional 20% of salary). We are looking for someone who is familiar with working on Diesel Engines, with previous experience working on Construction Plant Equipment. The position is permanent full time Monday - Friday, plus overtime.

Key Responsibilities:As a Mobile Service Engineer / Plant Fitter Your Job Role Would Include:

• PDI’s, Servicing & Repairing Diesel Engines
• Attend breakdowns on client sites
• Service plant equipment whilst out on site
• Fit Accessories as Required
• Work Well Under Pressure
• Complete Administration Tasks including Service & Repair Records Accurately
• Present a Professional and Positive Attitude when working on Customer Sites
• Maintain Health & Safety To HSE & Company Standards

Skills:The Ideal Candidate for the Mobile Service Engineer / Plant Fitter Role Will Have:

• Previous Experience in One or More of The Following Roles: Service Engineer; Mobile Service Engineer; Plant Fitter, Mobile Plant Fitter, Mobile Service Engineer 
• You Will Need Previous Experience within the Plant Hire / Agricultural and Construction Equipment Industry
• Analytical Approach To Problem Solving
• Able to Work Without Instruction
• IT Literate
• Own Tool Kit
• Good Communication Skills, both Verbal & Written
• Clean Current Driving License
