Rate: £28,947 - £31,836 per annum

GSL Education London Branch is looking for a skilled and reliable Facilities Technician to join a coeducational secondary school in Hackney. As a Facilities Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining the school's buildings and grounds, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Key Responsibilities of the Facilities Technician:

Carry out general maintenance and repairs around the school site
Support the upkeep of the school's buildings, grounds, and equipment
Respond quickly and effectively to reported issues and emergencies
Assist with setting up facilities for events and school activities
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and school policies
Help manage and monitor stock of tools, materials, and equipment
Work closely with school staff to maintain a clean and safe environment
Requirements to succeed as a Facilities Technician:

Previous experience as a Facilities Technician or in a similar maintenance role
Good practical skills with ability to fix, maintain, and repair various equipment and facilities
Awareness of health and safety standards and safe working practices
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, hardworking, and with a proactive attitude
Good communication skills and a professional approach
