Commercial Gas Engineer

Location: London (Various London Boroughs)

About the Role:
We are seeking skilled Commercial Gas Engineers passionate about delivering exceptional workmanship in a dynamic environment. This role involves working on commercial heating systems, ensuring high performance, and addressing reactive and planned maintenance needs. It is particularly suited to ex-military individuals, valued for their discipline, leadership, and technical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

* Service, repair, and maintain commercial gas appliances and heating systems.

* Conduct annual inspections, diagnostics, and repairs.

* Perform installations, including boiler refits and small plumbing works.

* Collaborate with electrical and BMS teams to troubleshoot system issues.

* Provide technical support and produce detailed maintenance reports.

* Ensure compliance with gas safety standards and best practices.

* Participate in on-call rotations for emergency responses.

Qualifications:

* Gas Safe Registered.

* ACS Certifications: CoDNCO1, CIGA1, CCN1, TPCP1A, CDGA1.

* Preferred: CORT1, ICPN1 certifications.

* Knowledge of BMS systems, electrical interlocks, and multi-phase electrical systems.

* Minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial heating systems.

Skills and Competencies:

* Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.

* Ability to read and interpret technical schematics.

* Effective communicator with customer service focus.

* Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
