We have an established Organisation looking to set up a in Crumpsall, Manchester, supporting up to 3

8- to18 year olds with EBD SEMH and challenging behaviour.

The group are passionate about Children's care, they are looking to build a therapeutic and safe environment for the children and young people. There will be full support given to the by the Directors and RI.

We are looking for a dynamic leader – someone who is tenacious and passionate, with the ability to connect with those they meet and build meaningful and productive working relationships.

Registered Manager Salary and Benefits

• Competitive annual salary up to £65k dependent on experience.

Registered Manager Skills and abilities

• Ability to demonstrate reasoning, numeracy, literacy and technology skills to required standard.
• Ability to work as a team, working closely with colleagues and other agencies.
• Ability to solve problems.
• Able to work within the principles of the Children’s Act.
• Demonstrate a sound working knowledge of Child Protection Issues and Procedures.
• Sound knowledge of Children’s Homes procedures and relevant issues.
• Ability to exercise authority.
• Proven leadership and management abilities.
• Excellent communication skills - both verbally and written.

Registered Manager knowledge and experience.

• At least 18 months working experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a Registered Children’s Home where the rating of their home is good to outstanding
• A minimum of two years’ experience at senior level in a Children’s Home.
• Experience working with Children who have Mental Health, Emotional & Behavioural difficulties
• Have a very good understanding of the children’s homes regulations and quality standards, 2015
• Has a strong track record of achieving “Good” or “Outstanding” outcomes with Ofsted
• Demonstrates strong leadership, compliance, and safeguarding knowledge
• Can evidence Ofsted Inspections and Reg 44/45

Registered Manager qualifications

• The Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) and Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young Peoples Services Or NVQ Level 4 Health and Social Care (Children’s Pathway) combined with a Leadership and Management Qualification
