Role: Sheet Metal Guillotine Operator

Location: Govan, Glasgow

Hourly Rate: £16.00 to £17 per hour (depending on experience)

Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:45pm
• Friday: 8:00am – 3:00pm

What You’ll Be Doing

• Operating sheet metal guillotines (including Amada machines)
• Cutting and shaping sheet metal to precise specifications
• Working from technical drawings
• Using a variety of hand and power tools
• Supporting the wider manufacturing process
• Following internal quality and safety procedures

What We’re Looking For

• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Experience working with aluminium, pre-coated sheet, and stainless steel
• Skilled in precision measuring and fabrication accuracy
• High attention to detail and quality standards
• Team player with good communication skills
• Physically capable of handling large materials and working on your feet

Forklift licence preferred but not essential.
