Role:  Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £38 - £41k (DOE) + Overtime

Location: Warrington

Shift pattern: Monday to Friday Regular days

Holidays: 20 + 8 days bank holiday

The Company

ATA have partnered with the UK's leading multi-site supplier supplying into the biggest names in the food retail sector. As the maintenance engineer you will be working on fully automated kit at their 1 of 6 purpose-built sites in Warrington. They are looking for an experienced mechanical maintenance engineer who has as ambitions to progress within the engineering sector to become a seasoned engineer. You will work alongside a team of multi skilled maintenance engineers on a range of industrial equipment.

The Role

As the maintenance engineer, your responsibilities will include:

Conducting planned and preventive maintenance on automated and complex machinery
Fault find on mechanical components including gearboxes, bearings, rollers and much more
Maintain levels of critical spares
Control calibration records
Requirements

As the mechanical maintenance engineer, our client requires:

NVQ level 3 apprenticeship (or equivalent) in mechanical engineering
Good understanding of mechanical PPM's and reactive maintenance 
Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
