About the RoleThis is a unique and rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about gaming, creativity, and relationship-based learning. Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in and be willing to learn about computer games such as Minecraft, Amazing Frog, Goat Simulator, and Among Us.
  • Support and encourage creative digital skills, including Photoshop, video editing, and 3D modelling, fostering enthusiasm for projects such as digital collages and video creation.
  • Explore themes of interest, including macabre and extra-terrestrial content (Trevor Henderson, Halloween, etc.), through discussions and activities.
  • Share an enthusiasm for dogs and dog-related content, assisting with filming and video projects featuring a pet dog.
  • Prioritise relationship-building, focusing on trust, comfort, and engagement over academic or target-driven learning.
  • Provide a safe, understanding, and pressure-free environment, supporting a learner with ASD, ADHD, and a PDA profile.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Passionate about gaming and creative digital media.
  • Patient, adaptable, and willing to build a trusting relationship over time.
  • Comfortable with unconventional and macabre themes.
  • Able to provide a supportive and pressure-free learning environment.
  • Experienced in working with neurodivergent individuals, particularly those with PDA profiles, or willing to learn.
  • Understanding of the impact of previous negative experiences with traditional education and the importance of a relationship-based approach.

This is a long-term role focused on creating a safe and engaging space for the learner to explore interests and social interactions without the pressures of conventional education.
