The Role

We are currently recruiting for a Forklift Counterbalance Driver to join a busy and growing warehouse operation based in Croydon. This is a hands-on, varied role, combining FLT driving with general warehouse duties, offering the opportunity to move into a permanent position following a successful temporary period.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating counterbalance forklifts safely
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Moving, stacking, and organising stock
• Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch
• Manual handling
• Stock checks and inventory control
• Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working environment
• Following health & safety procedures

Requirements

• Valid FLT licence (Counterbalance) - essential
• Previous forklift counterbalance driver / warehouse experience preferred
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Good attention to detail
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
